VAT, payment and cancellation
VAT
VAT is not charged — the practice is not VAT registered — so the price shown is the price payable.
Payment
Fixed-fee work is normally payable before the work is delivered. Your written quotation sets out when payment is due and how to make it. Third-party costs are identified before they are incurred and are not marked up.
Cancellation and work that does not proceed
Appointments can be rescheduled, and a matter that does not go ahead is charged only for work actually carried out. Where a document has been read and advice prepared, that work is chargeable even if you decide not to sign. The full basis is in the terms of business.
No priority premium
There is no expedited service and no rush fee. Where a deadline is tight you will be told honestly whether it can be met.
Prices are indicative minimums for matters within the assumptions shown. We review the document and confirm a fixed fee in writing before any work begins. No legal advice is given during the free initial assessment.
The initial conflict, scope and fee assessment is free and is not legal advice.
